The medieval village of Les Allues is still the capital of the Méribel valley and the heart of this pretty village is just a lovely 5 minute stroll from the chalet. The lounge balconies have fantastic mountain views of the Vanoise National Park and the Courchevel area. In summer this is filled with masses of wild flowers and is a great place to picnic and sunbathe with views up towards Méribel and Mont Vallon. Marked mountain walks lead straight from the front door. In winter this area is great for tobogganing!

Chalet Diapason Méribel Village (1400m)

Méribel Village is small & friendly with a great atmosphere. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity or just 2 kms away is the town of Méribel with shops, bars, restaurants and clubs. You can get there by car, ski or take the free bus which runs from early morning until late evening. The apartment’s terrace and garden overlook the mountain peaks. In winter the chairlift is 100m away and you can ski back to the chalet on the tree-lined blue run. You have direct access from here to the whole of Les Trois Vallées ski area. In summer walks and mountain bike trails lead from the village and the world class 18 hole golf course is less than 10 minutes away.

From either village, If you have a car, you can quickly get to different start points for skiing or summer activities such as Mottaret, La Tania or the Courchevel area. Plus a stunning 4th valley, Orelle, has now been linked. Brides Les Bains Spa town is just 10kms and Lake Annecy about 45 minute drive. The heart of The Vanoise National Park, Pralogan, is a short and stunningly beautiful drive.
