The Skiing: Méribel-Village and Les Allues are central
in Les Trois Vallées, the largest ski area in the world with 220 linked lifts and
600kms of pistes.

The Méribel valley has 94 miles of pistes, 17 miles of
itineraries. 11 green runs, 33 blue, 21 red, 9 black, 2 snowboard fun parks.

Col de la Loze 2035m
Les Allues: linked by the Olympé gondola connects you
to the centre of Méribel. Ski home in one decent, from the top of Roc de Fer
2294m taking the pretty blue 'Villages' run. For good skiers the sensational long
marked off-piste itinerary, all the way to the chalet door.
Alternatively come home from Meribel on the gondola, or take
the free ski bus. (runs 0820-midnight).
Méribel-Village: the chairlift is 3 minutes walk from
the chalet, from where you can ski the whole area. Coming home, you can ski from
the top of Mt. Saulire 2760m in one decent - all the way back on red or blue runs.
The blue piste into the village ('Lapin') is maintained in pristine condition by
snow canons. Or you can take the free bus back to Méribel-Village. (runs
0810-midnight).
However, if you have your own car you can explore this vast
area to the full by choosing different start points all within 5-10 minutes.
Linked ski areas are, Courchevel, La Tania, Val Thorens, Les Menuires and the
newly opened 4th area, the Orelle valley.

Ski & Snow Board Schools & Guides
We recommend New
Generation Ski School. They are excellent for children, adults, beginners
& right up to Advanced.
Groups are small (4 - 8 people), clinics are smaller (3 - 6 people). Groups are
best for beginner to intermediate and clinics best for intermediate to advanced.
Private lessons: 2, 3, 4 or 6 hours.
For French speakers there is ESF - Ècole du ski Française.

Pre-book and pay on line at meribel-alpina and have passes posted to your home.
For The Non-Skier

If skiing isn't your thing, there are a host of other activities:
Huskie sled riding, snow shoe walking, ice skating, rock climbing, snow biking,
paragliding, light aircraft flights, swimming in the indoor pool, pampering in the
Spas, shopping, lunches on mountain tops. A walkers pass includes the free ski
bus.
